Edison's FAQs
Edison Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Gahanna Ohio, just outside of the city of Columbus. We brew traditional European-style beers that are designed and overseen by our brew master Zac. We have designed our outdoor beer garden to be vacation-worthy by giving you the authentic German Experience.
Edison Brewing Company is an establishment built for adults. While we welcome families and well-behaved dogs during daytime and early evening hours, we ask all guests to understand that Edison is not a playground, park, or dog park.
Fridays and Saturdays After 6:00 PM
Edison is 21+ only
No dogs permitted
We intentionally transition to an adult-only atmosphere during these peak evening hours.
Children and Dogs During Permitted Hours
Children and dogs are welcome when accompanied and actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
No running through seating areas
No climbing on furniture, fixtures, or structures
No access to the stage
No playing ball or sports on the property
No wandering into fields, landscaping, flower beds, or restricted areas
Dogs must remain under their owner's control at all times
Dogs are not permitted on furniture
Owners must immediately clean up after their dogs
Parents and pet owners are responsible for ensuring that children and dogs do not disturb other guests, damage property, or create unsafe situations.
Our brewery, biergarten, ponds, landscaping, and event spaces contain features that require supervision and awareness. For the safety of all guests and to preserve the experience for everyone, we expect children and dogs to remain with their supervising adult at all times.
Guests who fail to follow these guidelines, repeatedly ignore staff direction, or allow disruptive behavior may be asked to leave the premises.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a welcoming environment for all guests while preserving the atmosphere Edison was built to provide.
Please ask staff to help with moving of furniture including umbrellas.
Please avoid walking/standing on landscape/flower.
Smoke or vape in designated areas and not out in the biergarten. Please do not put your dip in the urinals.
Please to mess with the firepits or throw objects in them.
Stay off the stage. It is for performers only.
We currently offer our in-house pinsas on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with plans to expand to additional days in the future. On days when pinsas aren’t available, we host rotating local food trucks. Check our food truck schedule on StreetFood Finder for truck days, and follow our social media for weekly pinasa updates.
To-go packs of beer and bottles of select barrel-aged brews are available for purchase at the brewery. Just stop by the bar to see what’s currently available. You can also find Edison Brewing Company on DoorDash and have your favorite beers delivered straight to you.
We offer a luxurious rooftop wedding and event venue located on the 4th floor, as well as a larger open 18,000 sq. ft. venue on the 3rd floor of the building next door through Edison Venues. Visit Edison Venues for more information.
We have some games at the bar. Please ask to borrow and return as they were taken out. Do not leave borrowed items out on the tables or biergarten.
