Edison Brewing Company to Participate in Ales for ALS™ in 2024
Raised funds will benefit ALS research at the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI)
March 22 – Gahanna, OH – This year, Edison Brewing Company along with hundreds of breweries across the United States are participating in Ales for ALS™, a program that raises money for vital ALS research at the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI). Each year, Ales for ALS™ breweries receive a free blend of experimental hops, which are donated by B.T. Loftus Ranches and YCH Hops. Breweries then raise money for ALS TDI through sales of their unique, limited-edition Ales for ALS™ beers, which are made from the donated hops, and through proceeds generated from their events and festivals. Since 2013, breweries participating in Ales for ALS™ have raised over $5,500,000 for ALS research at ALS TDI.
A rare nonprofit biotech, ALS TDI is the largest drug discovery lab in the world dedicated solely to ALS research. The ALS TDI lab, located in greater Boston, employs a team of scientists who work relentlessly to find treatments for ALS – a fatal disease which currently has no treatments or cures.
“At the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI), our goal is to continue to advance drugs until there are effective treatments for everyone with ALS. With every dollar raised, the breweries participating in the Ales for ALS™ program are helping to support our work to end ALS.” says Fernando Vieira, M.D., CEO and CSO and of ALS TDI.
The Edison Brewing Co. Ales for ALS™ beer will be available Friday March 22nd. “We are excited to share our version of the Ales for ALS. A wonderfully hopped and balance IPA that will not last long here.” Wil Schulze, Owner, Edison Brewing Co. “Edison’s Menlo series illuminate the experimental process Zac our Brewmaster has created, these funds donated will help the research efforts and hopefully soon, bring a breakthrough for ALS care.”

I had improved walking balance, increased appetite, muscle strength, improved eyesight and others.
